Compass Badge
This is an introductory award - the Compass Badge awarded during the 1st year in the section usually P7 boys.

The main award scheme is divided into 3 main zones with 4 levels of achievement in each.

Community Badge
This zone gives an opportunity to learn about and make a difference to the world around us.

Recreation Badge
This zone gives an opportunity to adventurous and develop confidence through an active and healthy lifestyle.

Skills Badge
This zone gives an opportunity to learn new skills and display creativity.

 Advanced Awards

 Discovery Badge
This is the first of the advanced awards. It is awarded in year 2 or 3 usually to S2 boys. There are a number of additional criteria including attendance at a Church event and an overnight stay. Click for more information on the Discovery Badge.

 Presidents Badge
This is awarded in year 5 usually to S4 boys. It requires level 4 in all Discover zones as well as attendance at a Building Your Skills training course. Click for more information on the Presidents Badge.

 Queens Badge
This is the top award in the Boys Brigade and in the 44th requires 2 years of work to acheive. Click for more information on the Queens Badge.

The Challenge Plus scheme has three levels of acheivement. Seniors can acheive one of either Bronze, Silver or
Gold awards.

 Bronze
This requires 10 acheivement points.

 Silver
This requires 20 acheivement points.

 Gold
This requires 30 acheivement points.

Service
Each year boys gain a Service Bagde indicating
how many years they have been a member.
